Gerry Arias is best known as a musician. He started his solo work in 2021 after many years of drumming, touring, and recording for artists like Natalie Merchant, Dina Regine, Heavy Merge, Dope Sagittarius, Voice of the Turtle, Electro Fetus, Brother Earth, Muzz Skillings (of Living Colour), and Nasty Ned. Gerry Arias' latest release The Mixed Signals, was produced by the late Grammy Award-winning engineer Ben Elliot of Showplace Studios in Dover, NJ, and mastered by the legendary Howie Weinberg, who worked with Gerry's music heroes like The Cure, The Replacements, Run–D.M.C., and Nirvana.
Gerry Arias played all the instruments and wrote all of the songs on The Mixed Signals like another one of his heroes Lenny Kravitz. Stand-out tracks include Love & War, Party After Midnight, and Never Be Famous. In 2022, Gerry was the executive producer on his first solo production, a three-song EP named Disaporia featuring the popular single On Holiday which was recorded in Ireland along with Jane S. Paddy (an interpretation of Rodríguez's song Jane S. Piddy) The third song on Disaporia, You and I was recorded in Costa Rica and features an amazing saxophone solo comped by cello. All three songs were recorded in one significant travel week and featured world-class musicians. Make sure you follow this prolific artist on Spotify. You will receive notifications for upcoming shows, new music, and merchandise. Thank you for listening.
No show too big or small, we plays them all:)

A World Beat Tribute to one of Gerry's Heroes, The Great Tom Petty.
"My first Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers cassette was "You're Gonna Get It! Favorite bit on that album was "I Need to Know." This vertical video features Maria German as the star and you can hear her sing on a chorus
Filmed in Ireland, April 2022. Featured on Sugarman.org where Rodriguez' daughter expressed appreciation for this amazing rendition featuring world renowned Irish musician Brian Fleming on Bodhran, master fiddliest Neil Fitz, and Quentin Cowper on acoustic guitar and sound production.
Filmed live at the Woodstock Farm Festival on August 7, 2024. Gerry noticed Ayana putting a harmonica away in her purse when he called her up to sing. The rest, as we say in music, was magic!
